Headshots and Portfolio Shoots: Here’s What we Offer

Headshot requests are becoming more frequent so I thought I’d put together a post to share some recent work and explain the packages I offer in greater detail. Headshots are typically a simpler and quicker session so my packages are also a little simpler than what I offer in my full studio sessions.

If headshots are what you or your child need its really important that you get good quality headshots that can stand out amongst the crowd. A headshot is a representation of you and often the first impression you are giving out to your audience, whether its casting directors, agents or college officials considering your application. A good headshot is more likely to get you noticed and ultimately get you further along your path. Making your headshots the best they can be should go a long way in helping you progress in your chosen path.

I offer 2 different levels of service in order to make it as affordable and appropriate as possible. The first is a simple straightforward headshot shoot which lasts about an hour, includes a couple of outfit changes, a change in background and 3 edited digital files (printable to 8×10″). This package costs £150. Additional files can be purchased for £25 each, 5 for £100 or 10 for £175. The images are viewed and selected at the end of the session and the finished files are emailed within 2 days. This package only includes headshots. For full length and 3/4 length images the portfolio package I offer will provide this.

The Portfolio package costs £375 and includes 5 edited digital files (printable to 8×10). Additional images can be purchased for £25 each, 5 for £100 or 10 for £175. This also includes a stylish leather A4 portfolio with 5 fine art prints of the selected files. A model portfolio session typically takes 2 and a half hours and will allow for outfit changes and final image selection. During this session we include 3/4 and full length poses as well as a change of background.

Prior to either of these sessions we begin with a discussion over the phone to go over the ultimate goal for the images we produce. Performing arts colleges for example will have specific requirements, some wanting full length back and front or in arabesque. Acting headshots will likely require different looks for the different roles you may be going for, for example, is it a comedic role, a villain, or a role in a musical you are aiming to acquire. Its important to create images that are fit for purpose so you can gain the success you are after.

All our sessions are relaxed and unhurried. I’ve listed times for how long sessions typically take however I never hold back to back sessions so we are not limited to those times. They are merely a guideline so you have an idea of what to expect. These sessions are always quite enjoyable for all involved. I particularly enjoy them myself.
