A Room with a View of one of my Framed Portraits!!

I love getting the chance to see the work I sell actually hanging on someone’s wall.  And last week I had that chance.  It was after seeing them for their second visit with us that I mentioned I’d love to see it.  So I was invited to come over and I’m so glad.  I think it looks wonderful on their wall and fits perfectly into their home.  Amazingly, this portrait is actually one of our extra large framed prints which many people find just that bit too large.  Here though I couldn’t imagine anything any smaller as it would simply be lost in that fab brick wall. 

I just loved their home.  Its perfect as far as I’m concerned and just the sort of thing I would love if I could design my own home.  Its so unusual and spacious and clutter free, not to mention a great space for entertaining.  And I’ve only shown a fraction of this living space. 

Something I’d like to point out here is the fact that this framed portrait shows little, if any reflections in the glass.  This is not something I Photoshopped out.  All our wall products come with low reflection glass as standard.  This won’t remove all reflections but significantly reduces most making your portraits much more attractive and easier to view, even in very bright spaces where reflections would be highly distracting if normal picture glass were to be used. 

Also notice the pool table in the middle with that fabulous collage of family photos.  My client had a little giggle at the thought of me coming over and seeing my professional work against her own work and kind of apologised for it in advance as to warn me before I arrived.  But I found it to be amazing and so nice to see that someone has actually made good use of printed photographs.  This collection of photographs took them ages to strategically build, ensuring that all their friends and family were included.  Its about time more people started doing the same.  Too many people keep their images hidden away on hard drives, mobile phones, iPads, etc, hardly ever to be seen and with the distinct possibility of being lost forever due to hardware failures.
