As always I had a great time photographing this little girl and her parents.  I don't always get the opportunity to photograph the parents as many don't want to be included in the newborn session.  But what I love most about including the parents is being able to see the love the parents have for their new tiny creation.  They look so happy and it makes me think about what their daughter is going to be thinking when she is old enough to look back on these portraits and understand just how her parents felt when they had her.  

For me this makes these portraits entirely invaluable and so important for them all.  Our relationship with our parents changes as we grow older, as does theirs with us.  And I think we find it hard to put ourselves in our parents shoes because they have always seemed so much older than us.  So its nice to get a glimpse of what it must have been like for them when they were young and just starting out on their adventure as parents.  I know I love looking back at old photos.  I can only imagine this little girl will love these too.  

Its so easy to say 'I don't like being in pictures' but sometimes the pictures are really important to someone else.
